What is Ekoklean On Demand?
Ekoklean On Demand is the first cleaning platform that allows you to book an ethical and ecological cleaning, 100% online in a few clicks, without obligation and anywhere in France. Our conviction? Improve, socially, the world of housekeeping.
The “Ekokleaners” are fairly remunerated freelancers. They receive a salary well above the minimum wage (18€/h), have decent hours and only work during the day (between 8am and 8pm). They must pass a demanding and compulsory training in cleaning techniques.
Tariff, tax deduction
How much does a cleaning service cost?
€15 per hour: if your tax address is in France and you book home cleaning (main or secondary residence located in France, for private use). You can also benefit from this rate if you finance the service with an ascendant under certain conditions (see details).
To benefit from this rate, you must indicate your hours in your annual tax return, based on the information on your tax certificate (to be found in your customer area).
€30 per hour: if your tax address is not in France, you do not benefit from the 50% tax reduction.

How your booking system works?
Enter your postal code then choose the date and frequency of your services
Complete the number of rooms in your accommodation and the additional options, according to your needs. This offers you a minimum number of hours to properly provide the service. You can add additional time, according to your needs.
You will then receive a confirmation email when an Ekokleaner accepts the request. Confirmation is not always immediate and can arrive no later than 24 hours before the service. We recommend that you contact the speaker via internal messaging.
Please note: you must provide the equipment and maintenance products.
Can I book same day cleaning?
The particularity of Ekoklean On Demand is to allow the customer to reserve an Ekokleaner in a few minutes with an intervention within 3 hours.
You also have the possibility of creating your own housekeeping formula for your accommodation: punctual or regular, on demand or scheduled.
Am I obliged to be present during the mission?
We recommend that the customer be present during the first service in order to meet the Ekokleaner and give him an inventory if necessary.
However, this is not mandatory – in this case, it will be necessary:
- send your specific instructions, if necessary, when making your reservation (dedicated “message” field) or contact the Ekokleaner via internal messaging;
- ensure the delivery of the keys by indicating it when booking (eg door code, key box, etc.)
Please note: you must ensure that the equipment and products are present in the accommodation so that the Ekokleaner can intervene.
What does an Ekoklean On Demand service contain?
We carry out a “classic” type of housekeeping in your home. This includes the cleaning of all parts, in particular:
- Dust and/or wash furniture
- Vacuum the floors
- Wash the floors
Options can be added to your order:
- Clean the inside of the fridge
- Clean the inside of the oven
- Do the dishes by hand
- Load / empty the dishwasher
- Cleaning of balconies and/or terrace (brooms and simple cleaning of furniture)
- Wash sheets and towels (only if you are equiped with a washing machine and a dryer)
- Redo the beds with clean linen
The cleaning duration is 2 hours minimum.
If I rent my house, how is laundry handled?
You must be equipped with a washing machine and a dryer to choose the “washing and drying of household linen” option when making your reservation.
- If the accommodation is not equipped, the Ekokleaner will group the dirty laundry. It will be your responsibility to wash it, as we do not provide a laundry or ironing service.
- If you choose the “make the beds” option and you are not equipped, you must provide clean linen in the accommodation, in a storage unit for example. Be sure to send these instructions beforehand and as clearly as possible (in comments on the reservation and via internal messaging).
How can I be sure that the mission is well carried out?
The Ekoklean On Demand team ensures that the missions are carried out correctly.
Ekokleaners are insured and trained to respect the safety in your accommodation. They are also required to respect the confidentiality of your private life. You will be notified by email and a notification on the Ekoklean On Demand application in case of difficulty.
All our services are covered by liability insurance to protect your property.
Maintenance products and equipment
Do I have to provide maintenance products and materials?
It is your responsibility to provide the accommodation with the appropriate equipment and products to ensure the service by the Ekokleaner.
You can order ecological cleaning products when you book online. The containers and prices are specified in the Our products tab. At the end of the mission, the Ekokleaner indicates the level of the products (you receive the information by email). You will then be able to order a restocking kit.
Who are the speakers and can I choose them?
The speakers registered on our platform are 100% declared self-employed and trained in the cleaning standards defined by Ekoklean On Demand.
Once performed, you must evaluate each service. This makes it possible to confirm the know-how of the speaker.
